The Wine Enthusiast, a prestigious industry publication, rated the 2008 Viognier/Roussanne 87 points. "This fun, flirty Viognier/Roussanne blend starts with lively lemon and citrus aromas and leads into a joyful blend of curvy honey and plucky spice. Fruit and acidity are in good balance. A pretty wine with character. " The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon was rated 90 points by Loren Sonkin (Cleveland wine blogger and winemaker) on Mark Squires Bulletin Board on erobertparker.com. "Light ruby in color, clear and bright. The nose has pretty strawberry notes with some cherries. A bit of an herbal note as well. Nice texture. This is a very good red wine. I don't know about "varietal correctness" but it is delicious. For $17 Ohio, I am going to lay down a few. I think it ages well for 5 to 10 years as it got better all night long."
